LUKE WHEATLEY

A filmmaker who chases his curiosity, he believes that films are a way to make change and create an emotional connection to an audience. Luke started his career in marketing for one of Australia's largest independent film distribution companies and through his time there worked his way up to being the Head of Theatrical Acquisitions where he collaborated with Universal, Warner Bros and Dendy Films.

Luke created The 48 Hour Destination where he wrote, produced and directed multiple episodes. The first season was received favourably drawing large audiences across Network 10, TVNZ and National Geographic. A second season was greenlit and continued with the same success.

Following his passion for travel, Luke directed and executive produced the large screen format feature documentary Beyond the Reef, filmed in 8K which premiered at the Brisbane International Film Festival following a release across Event and Village cinemas.

Luke has also directed and produced the documentary Plant Delicious that aired on SBS and Grounded, a documentary exploring the impact that Covid had on the travel industry.

Recently, Luke is directing the documentary Black Sunday and has wrapped on Same Same But Different.

BECKIE ADAMS

Beckie Adams has been in the content industry for more than five years. She was the producer and director on the travel series The California Culinary Series and has recently produced the pilot episode for the new vegan doco-series Plant Delicious.

Beckie created, wrote and produced the documentary Plant Delicious which aired on SBS.

Beckie produced the feature documentary Beyond the Reef and Executive Produced Grounded which aired on Network Nine.

Currently, she is producing two feature documentaries which are in post production stage.
